During law school, Mr. Hopkins competed on and later coached the American Intellectual Property Law Association Moot Court team at Columbia Law School. He also provided pro bono legal assistance through an externship with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, where he helped with intake and one-off consultations for several clients on a range of topics in intellectual property, including patent applications.
Before law school, Mr. Hopkins earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, where he studied mathematics and philosophy and researched special topics in the intersection of those two disciplines.
