During law school, Tyler interned for two judges, the Honorable Richard J. Leon of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the Honorable Louis A. Trosch Jr. of Mecklenburg County Superior Court in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also served as a Senator and Vice President within the Student Bar Association, and worked as a peer tutor for two doctrinal courses. Prior to law school, Tyler obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Dickinson College.
