During law school, Mr. Patawaran served on the editorial board for the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology. He also competed in the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition, and the John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition. In addition, Mr. Patawaran was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society; the Law, Innovation, Security, & Technology Society; and served as Community Affairs Chair for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
