Spencer Perkins focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling. He has represented technology companies in patent disputes involving semiconductors, vehicle sensors and navigation systems, consumer hardware, digital displays, and other advanced technologies. He also has trial experience in the Eastern District of Texas, where he represented a global supplier of lithium-ion batteries in a patent infringement action.

Before law school, Spencer studied mechanical engineering at Duke University and worked at a startup developing wearable electronics, becoming a named inventor on three patents. He also received a scholarship from the Department of Defense for research involving nanotechnology used in electrochemical energy systems.
