Mr. Stronczer is a trial lawyer and registered patent attorney who handles complex patent litigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), the U.S. district courts, the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC). In particular, Mr. Stronczer's practice focuses on Section 337 investigations before the ITC, where he has represented both complainants and respondents in litigation across a wide variety of technologies.

Mr. Stronczer has significant experience across all phases of patent litigation and has taken multiple matters from inception through trial, including leading discovery efforts, drafting dispositive motions, and examining fact and expert witnesses at trial. His ITC practice spans investigations involving video processing and display technology, touchscreen and human interface systems, consumer electronics, and other complex electrical and software technologies, and includes advocacy before U.S. Customs and Border Protection on exclusion order enforcement issues.

Before joining Desmarais LLP, Mr. Stronczer was an associate and counsel in the Washington, D.C. office of Akin Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld LLP. Mr. Stronczer was a key member of several ITC teams that defended a leading television manufacturer in evidentiary hearings related to video processing and display technology. In addition to managing fact and expert discovery and developing technical defenses, he defended and cross-examined key expert witnesses at trial.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Stronczer served for more than seven years as a patent examiner at the USPTO, examining patent applications in the art of interactive video distribution.

Mr. Stronczer also maintains an active pro bono practice covering a wide range of subject areas, including representing armed forces members and civil servants in appellate matters before the CAFC related to their service, assisting individuals persecuted in their home countries in seeking asylum in the United States, landlord-tenant disputes, and work with the homeless in the District of Columbia.
