In May 2026, Mr. Curry was a member of the trial team that defended Abiomed, maker of the Impella intravascular heart pump, in a patent infringement suit brought by Maquet Cardiovascular in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Maquet sought approximately $400 million in damages. After a twelve-day trial, the jury found that Abiomed did not infringe and that the asserted patent claim was invalid. At trial, Mr. Curry conducted the direct examination of Abiomed's damages expert.
In October 2024, Mr. Curry was a member of the trial team that represented a multinational technology company as plaintiff in a patent infringement jury trial in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. The jury returned a verdict of willful infringement of the client’s design patents covering smartwatch and charger designs.
Before law school, Mr. Curry spent several years in online advertising technology at Starcom, ComScore, and Signal. He also volunteered with RefugeeOne, working to resettle refugee families, and with Cabrini Green Legal Aid.
During law school, Mr. Curry was a recipient of the Rubenstein Scholarship, served on the board of First Generation Professionals, and was a staff member of the Chicago Journal of International Law.
