During law school, Mr. Zask served as a full-time student law clerk for Judge Loretta A. Preska of SDNY and worked on several published opinions. He also worked as a clinical intern for Cardozo’s Filmmaker’s Legal Clinic, where he represented small filmmakers on issues such as copyright licensing, fair use, and entity formation. Mr. Zask honed his advocacy skills by participating in the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program at Cardozo and winning the William C. Conner Inn of Court mock closing arguments special program for high school jurors. Additionally, he worked as a Research Assistant to Professor Michael Burstein, focusing on the definition of inventorship in patent law.
Prior to law school, Mr. Zask worked as a Data Scientist for Horizon Media where he built and scaled AI solutions and infrastructure. There he helped launch an internal AI product for automated marketing segmentation. He is proficient in Python, R, SQL, and PySpark.
