Cyrus Tafti's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and counseling. Before joining Desmarais LLP, Mr. Tafti worked in various research and development laboratories on topics such as bacterial metabolism, novel pharmaceutical compounds, and diagnostic health testing. In Law School he served as a Legal Writing Fellow as part of the Legal Research and Writing program, and was part of a team that successfully drafted, lobbied, and passed bi-partisan legislation to improve special-education in Virginia public schools.
