At Berkeley Law, he was an associate editor of the California Law Review, captained the school’s Mock Trial team, served on the board of the Intellectual Property Law Society, and worked with the Samuelson Law, Technology, and Public Policy Clinic to assist clients with matters involving data privacy and information access rights.
Before law school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, where he also researched student misconceptions in dynamic programming.
