Brendan J. Palmer

Mr. Palmer’s practice focuses primarily on patent litigation and counseling. He has substantial experience handling complex electrical and computer related technologies, including telecommunications, semiconductors, medical devices, and machine learning architectures.
 
Prior to joining Desmarais LLP, Mr. Palmer worked as a Patent Agent, where he prepared and prosecuted patent applications, conducted pre-suit and ongoing patent analyses, and provided technical litigation support. During law school, he graduated with High Honors, was named a Kirkland & Ellis Scholar, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Mr. Palmer earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he conducted research on non-terrestrial communications systems.
