During his master’s research at the University of Virginia, Axel quantified information leakage in data-sharing settings in the wind turbine industry by developing predictive models and applying distribution inference attacks. He also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Discrete Mathematics and Theory II at the University of Virginia.
