Allan Carlsen is a trial lawyer and advisor that specializes in complex technology-related disputes.  He has counseled companies of all sizes through pre-suit investigations and all phases of district court litigation—from pleading to trial and beyond.  A few examples of Allan’s experiences include economic damages analyses, drafting formal memoranda and briefs, claim construction arguments, several depositions taken and defended, preparation of expert reports, and preparation of deposition and trial witnesses.  His projects have spanned a wide scope of technology and life sciences, including data information systems, telepresence and image-processing products, and immunomodulation therapies.
 
Allan’s recent trial experience includes two separate defendant representations, each involving several asserted patents with damages asks above $100 million.  In each instance, Allan played a substantive role in securing favorable resolutions for his clients.
 
During law school, Allan served as editor-in-chief of Temple Law Review and competed on Temple Law’s National Trial Team.  He graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.  Upon graduation, he received a scholarship award for his published paper on Section 101 patentability and an award for excellence in trial advocacy.
