Notable Successes

LMG Life Sciences selected four Desmarais LLP partners as 2021 “Life Sciences Stars” for their work on intellectual property cases in the General Patent Litigation and Hatch-Waxman Patent Litigation categories.
 
Paul Bondor, John Desmarais, Bindu Donovan and Todd Krause earned the “Life Sciences Star” designation based on LMG’s rankings criteria, which honors outstanding legal practitioners within the field. Earlier this year, LMG also shortlisted founding partner John Desmarais for the 2021 General Patent Litigator of the Year Award (New York). In the past 12 months, the partners have worked on major life sciences patent cases involving pharmaceutical treatments for HIV; biologic drugs (including antibodies, fusion proteins, and vaccines); robotic surgical and medical procedures; prenatal genetic testing; and technology related to pain management.
 
The LMG awards and “Life Sciences Star” designations highlight the industry’s top life sciences attorneys handling biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device patent litigation. The rankings are based on the attorneys’ case work, reviews by industry peers, and feedback from clients.
