The 2025 Life Sciences Patent Network (LSPN) Awards honored Desmarais LLP with multiple awards at a ceremony in Boston on May 6th, including wins for John Desmarais as Patent Litigator of the Year, Kerri-Ann Limbeek as Rising Star of the Year, and the firm’s $57 million jury verdict for Ravgen against Natera as Case of the Year. Additionally, John Desmarais was Highly Commended in the Lifetime Achievement category.
The LSPN Awards recognize attorneys and firms based on their successes in life sciences intellectual property cases since 2024, highlighting the skill, innovation, and leadership they demonstrated in those matters. A team of judges selected the winners after reviewing their accomplishments and feedback from colleagues, clients, and peers across the industry. “These individuals and organizations are shaping the future of pharmaceutical and biotech patent protection,” LSPN said in its awards announcement.
