Desmarais LLP partners John Desmarais and Jonas McDavit earned spots in the annual IAM Strategy 300: World’s Leading IP Strategists list that highlights professionals who play a critical role in helping companies and individuals manage their intellectual property portfolios.
“The Strategy 300 shines a spotlight on individuals who are driving innovation and unlocking value through intellectual property across industries and continents,” IAM said in its announcement, noting these “are not only experts in IP law but also pioneers in turning IP portfolios into powerful business assets.”
The 2025 edition of the Strategy 300 includes IP professionals from corporations, service providers, research institutions, and universities. The review process involved gathering feedback from senior IP executives in North America, Europe and Asia, as well as from third-party providers, and then selecting among those who garnered multiple independent nominations.
