Bindu Donovan

Benchmark Litigation has selected Desmarais LLP partner Bindu Donovan as one of its “Top 250 Women in Litigation” for 2020. This is the eighth straight year that Benchmark Litigation has named Donovan to the group. 
 
The Top 250 honorees earned the recognition based on high-stakes litigation work, client feedback, and interviews with industry peers. Benchmark Litigation uses a six-month research process to compile the list of honorees, and its goal is to highlight the “most distinguished women in the world of litigation.” 
 
Donovan, who joined Desmarais LLP as a partner in 2018, was also recognized as a Benchmark Litigation “Local Litigation Star.” In her life sciences litigation practice, Donovan represents pharmaceutical and medical device companies in high stakes patent litigation, including cases brought under the Hatch-Waxman Act on behalf of innovator companies. Donovan has more than 20 years of experience handling high stakes patent cases, including serving as trial and litigation counsel in cases involving treatments for cancer, influenza, diabetes, and neurological and ophthalmic disorders, as well as matters related to biotechnology and drug-eluting stents.
