Notable Successes

Desmarais LLP earned the No. 1 ranking in Vault’s 2026 “Best Intellectual Property Specialty Law Firms” category, as voted on by associates in the industry.
 
“To steal a phrase from ‘Hamilton’ on Broadway, Desmarais is ‘young, scrappy, and hungry,’” Vault wrote. “In fewer than 15 years, Desmarais has made a name for itself as a destination for IP litigators who want to practice at the highest levels.”
 
The 2026 rankings are based on Vault’s Annual Associate Survey that took place from January to March 2025 and included responses from more than 20,000 associates across the industry. Associates only ranked firms in their practice areas and were not allowed to rank their own firms.
