These achievements include a $361 million defense verdict secured in a patent infringement trial involving encryption technology; a willful infringement finding at trial related to two patents covering electronic watches; and three victories he helped oversee before the Federal Circuit that upheld prenatal genetic testing patents that were the basis for $429.5 million in damages won in the district courts.
