Desmarais LLP continues to be a life sciences powerhouse, again delivering standout trial and appellate results over the past year. The firm won a complete defense verdict for Abiomed, defeating a $412 million patent damages claim, and two weeks later secured a complete jury victory for plaintiffs Harbour Antibodies BV and Erasmus University Medical Center Rotterdam against Teneobio and Amgen. Earlier in the year, the firm prevailed on appeal at the Federal Circuit on behalf of Medivis, Inc.

The judges select the nominees based on the impact, complexity, and innovation of their work during the past 12 months.
