Desmarais LLP partners John Desmarais and Jonas McDavit earned spots in the 2023 edition of the IAM Strategy 300, which recognizes the industry’s leading intellectual property strategists from across the globe.
 
These IP strategists “do not see issues from just one perspective; instead, they see value creation in the round,” IAM said in its announcement. “It is this 360-degree perspective, combined with a demonstrable ability to deliver, which makes them stand out from the crowd.”
 
IAM’s researchers made selections for the annual list after receiving nominations, conducting follow-up interviews, and gathering feedback via email from senior members in the industry. The list highlights those who have demonstrated the ability to create and manage IP value.
 
“From the very beginning, the IAM Strategy 300 has identified individuals who offer top-tier services relating to the development and implementation of strategies which enable IP owners to maximize the value of their portfolios,” IAM said in its announcement.
