Notable Successes

Benchmark Litigation has named Bindu Donovan to its Top 250 Women in Litigation for the seventh straight year in a row, and she was named a Local Litigation Star. The Top 250 Women in Litigation honorees are selected based on their industry-leading work in high-stakes litigation and by recommendations from peers.
 
Donovan joined Desmarais LLP as a partner in its Life Sciences Practice in October 2018, and her practice focuses on representing pharmaceutical and medical device companies, with a focus on Hatch-Waxman litigation for innovator drug companies. She has more than two decades of experience handling high-stakes patent infringement cases in the life sciences. Most recently, Donovan was trial and litigation counsel for the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen in patent infringement litigation filed under the Hatch-Waxman Act and inter partes review proceedings involving the blockbuster prostate cancer drug Zytiga®.
