Joseph Akalski's practice focuses on patent infringement and IP counseling. With his background in Computer Science and Mathematics, Mr. Akalski's practice spans a broad range of technological fields, including software, business methods, computing systems, manufacturing equipment and processes, mechanical arts, forecasting systems and medical devices. Prior to joining Desmarais LLP, he was an associate in the Intellectual Property Department of Baker Botts L.L.P.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Akalski was a computer systems consultant focusing on the development and improvement of custom functionality and the enhancement of ERP systems.
