Ameet Modi's practice focuses on the trial of patent infringement disputes. Mr. Modi has participated in all phases of litigation and trial in cases relating to a wide range of technical subject matters, including pharmaceuticals, medical and surgical devices, network switching equipment, encryption and compression technology, microprocessor design and development, VOIP telephony, e-commerce, software development, and electronic gaming. Mr. Modi has also counseled and represented clients in antitrust and unfair competition matters.
 
Mr. Modi has been with Desmarais LLP since the firm’s inception.  Before joining Desmarais LLP, Mr. Modi was an associate in the Intellectual Property group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
